Looking to learn and become more comfortable with firearms? This is an introduction to semi-automatics. This course focuses on safe firearm handling. This course covers universal safety rules, clearance checks, clearing malfunctions, types of ammunition, shooting fundamentals (stance, grip, trigger control, sight alignment, etc.).
This is a two-day class.
PG County classroom portion starts at 9 am in Capitol Heights, MD (Ritchie Station Court) on day 1. Virtual portion starts at 8 am via Google Meet on day 2. PG County shooting portion is held at Maryland Small Arms in Upper Marlboro, MD at 10 am on day 2.
Baltimore classroom portion starts at 9 am in Towson, MD (Delaney Valley Rd) on day 1. Virtual portion starts at 8 am via Google Meet on day 2. Baltimore shooting portion is held at Guntry in Owings Mills, MD at 10 am on day 2.
$50 range fee due prior to shooting on Sunday. This fee is applied to pistol lane, handgun rental, and ammunition. You will also receive ear protection, eye protection, and paper target to take home.
The cost of this course is $125. There are two payment options.

NO REFUNDS. Please contact us via phone or email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled class to reschedule. You will be allowed 1 attempt to reschedule. If the rescheduled class is missed, or canceled, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.
