MD Wear & Carry Renewal

After completing the course, you can reapply for an MD Wear & Carry Permit. Must be at least 21 years of age. No prerequisites are required. This permit is available for both MD residents and non-residents.

 

This is a two-day class.

PG County classroom portion starts at 9 am in Camp Springs, MD (Mercedes Blvd). PG County shooting portion starts at 9:30 am in Upper Marlboro, MD (Fallard Ct.).

Baltimore classroom portion starts at 9 am in Towson, MD (Delaney Valley Rd). Baltimore shooting portion starts at 9:30 am in Owings Mills, MD (Red Run Blvd).

 

$50 range fee is due prior to shooting on Sunday. This fee is applied to pistol lane, handgun rental, and ammunition. You will also receive ear protection, eye protection, and paper target to take home.

Course Overview

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. This comprehensive course is for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident. This course fulfills the MD Wear & Carry training requirement.

Payment Options for the MD Wear & Carry Renewal

Pay in Full: Pay in full via Credit or Debit Card

Deposit: Pay a $100 deposit via Credit or Debit Card. Remaining balance of $75 must be paid via cash.

AfterPay: Pay in 4 via AfterPay! Pay in 4 allows you to break up payments for select online purchases into four equal installments. The first payment is due at the time of purchase, while the remaining payments are due every two weeks until you pay off the balance. There is an 8% tax applied to the total cost of courses. Within 24 hours of checking out, you will receive an invoice to pay with AfterPay. The invoice will be valid for 48 hours. If the invoice is not paid within 48 hours, your seat will not be secured.

 

NO REFUNDS. Please get in touch with us via phone or email at least 48 hours before your scheduled class to reschedule. You will be allowed 1 attempt to reschedule. A $50 rescheduling fee will apply if the rescheduled class is missed or canceled.
