DC Concealed Carry License

Course Cost
This course costs $225 for a registration to get the concealed carry license for the first time and $175 for a concealed carry license renewal registration. While you are in course, an additional $50 range fee is due prior to shooting on day two of instruction. The range fee and course fee include full instruction as well as a pistol lane, firearm, ammunition, a target, eye protection, and ear protection to take home.
Course Overview
The DC Concealed Carry course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. This comprehensive course is for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense while out of the house. After this class, students will feel confident to act in defense in the event of a critical incident. This course fulfills the DC Concealed Carry training requirement, as well as these topics:

Each of our courses for firearm safety and responsibility are designed to provide comprehensive education for our students, and as part of this, we offer two different locations for this two-day course that will help you obtain your Concealed Carry license:
- PG County Day 1: 9 am on Ritchie Station Court, Capitol Heights, MD 20743
- PG County Day 2: 8 am Virtual | 10 am on Fallard Ct, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
- Baltimore Day 1: 9 am on Painters Mill Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117
- Baltimore Day 2: 8 am Virtual | 10 am Red Run Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117

Permits Included
The permit included with the completion of this course is the DC Concealed Carry License, which is required to legally carry a handgun in DC. This course is available to both residents of DC and non-residents who are from other areas, so don’t hesitate to register today!
