Permits Included

The permits you’ll earn as a result of completing this course are:

  • Either MD Wear & Carry or DC Concealed Carry
  • Utah Concealed Carry (covers VA)
  • Free MD Handgun Qualification License (HQL) – only required for MD residents

Course Overview

This course is your complete guide to the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, as well as how these topics apply to home defense or self-defense. This comprehensive course is for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident. This course can allow students to carry a handgun in over 30 states. Topics covered in this course:

Course Cost

This course costs $350 for one person  and $250 each for two or more people. We do charge an additional $50 range fee due prior to shooting on day two of the course. The range fee includes a  pistol lane rental, firearm, and ammunition. Also included is target, eye protection, and ear protection to take home.

This course takes place in multiple locations to provide flexible learning opportunities for our firearm students:

  • PG County Day 1: 9 am on Ritchie Station Court, Capitol Heights, MD 20743
  • PG County Day 2: 8 am Virtual | 10 am on Fallard Ct, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
  • Baltimore Day 1: 9 am on Painters Mill Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117
  • Baltimore Day 2: 8 am Virtual | 10 am Red Run Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117
